Rubber Rooftop Flooring For Cool Roofs
Cool roofs are the way of the future. By reflecting more of the sun’s incoming rays, Poured In Place’s Multi-Purpose rubber rooftop flooring system in light colors can help to reduce the heat island effect. This poured rubber surface also offers insulating capabilities, contributing to lower heating and cooling expenses in the structure. Depending on the circumstances, these cost reductions may be sufficient to cover the installation cost.
This rubber rooftop coating also has sound-dampening properties, making the atmosphere more comfortable for building occupants and a high coefficient of friction for a safe, non-slip surface.
Our rubber surfacing solutions, including cool roof installations in light hues, are LEED-certified and may turn a space into a lovely recreational area.
Poured In Place Multi-Purpose rooftop installations can be porous, enabling rainfall to soak into the existing drainage system, promoting rapid drying and reducing puddling, or impenetrable, with its drainage system. Both approaches give an additional layer of roof insulation and protection.
